The Snow Plow Show Episode 881 – Top Secret Classified Advertisements

Here’s our latest episode, brought to you by SirVern, Mattchew, TokeusPocus, Delores McKlinski, and Austin E. This episode of The Snowplow Show features a variety of prank calls, listener voicemails, and discussions about podcasting and personal experiences.

The episode begins with:

• An unrelated recorded message about a “Henderson file” for a “million dollar account”, suggesting a lunch meeting for “Cactus Margaritas” to brainstorm ideas and avoid losing the account like the previous year to Karowski.

• A prank call to Natalie from “Jason from the weed store”. Jason tells Natalie she won a “guess the number of grams” contest by guessing 44.3 grams (the correct answer was 44.5 grams). He also accuses her of stealing a pen. As her prize, he sings her a creepy, sexually suggestive song that mentions her being Jewish and wanting to “finger you under a blanket” and later offers a “hand job”. Natalie becomes increasingly uncomfortable and eventually says she will never come back to the store, finding the song creepy and the interaction off-putting. Jason tries to defend his actions, claiming it was a compliment. Natalie threatens to block his number and report the business.

The host, Shifty Pop, then introduces The Snowplow Show and discusses various topics:

• He mentions that the initial “Henderson file” recording was something Justin made for them via Fiverr in 2023.

• He highlights Patreon supporters and encourages listeners to join for access to more pranks and content, referencing an older “Hobos” prank.

• He talks about setting up a “butts slammed” soundboard on Prankcast for listeners to use.

• He shares that he has fixed all the archives and RSS feed links for The Snowplow Show on snowplowshow.com, allowing access to 881 episodes.

• He plays a clip from a driving compilation video showing a roundabout incident, noting that the driver was listening to The Snowplow Show.

• He plays a song by John G.

The episode continues with a series of prank calls, many based on classified advertisements:

• PayPal Scam Calls: The host receives a fraudulent PayPal email about a $699.99 BTC transaction. He calls the number provided, pretending to be “Matter Chad Gandu Sauce”. The scammer eventually hangs up after realising it’s a prank. He calls back multiple times, engaging in aggressive and insulting exchanges with different “PayPal” representatives, including telling one to “pull up your socks” because “this is not a barn” and accusing them of being a “w****” and a scammer.

• Drain Snake: He calls about a “140 foot commercial grade drain snake,” encountering a grouchy 74-year-old man who asks his wife of 54 years to “shut the f******”.

• Female Companion: He calls about an ad seeking a “female companion,” telling the man (Russell) that he was in his backyard at 2 AM measuring his house and left his tape measure. Russell becomes very upset and threatens him.

• Lawn Chair: He calls about a $12 lawn chair, leading to an argument between two women named “Carol” and “Mr.” who both claim to be selling the same lawn chair from the same phone number.

• Cedar Chest: A similar scenario unfolds with a cedar chest ad, where two people claim to be selling the same item from the same number, escalating to threats of physical violence and punching. The host then discovers his VoIP number was misconfigured, leading the call recipients to believe he was calling from a “prank line”.

• Lawn Aerator: He calls about a sold lawn aerator, claiming he bought it and found a GPS tracker on it, leading to a heated exchange with aggressive insults and threats to call “the law”.

• Bee Trap: Another call where “Carol” interferes, telling the seller (Harvey) to give the bee trap away for free, frustrating him.

• Jeep Wrangler/Stealth Camping: He calls Ralph, claiming to be his neighbor Roy, who was stealth camping in Ralph’s backyard, used his electricity and water, and left a camping stove behind. He jokes about returning at 2 or 3 AM to look for it, prompting Ralph to threaten him with a gun and dogs. He also tries to ask about a Jeep Wrangler for sale.

• Utility Trailer: He calls Chad about a trailer, claiming to have bought it, and then proceeds to ask if Chad was drunk or high, eventually asking to “kiss me on the mouth” and threatening to “stick a finger up your butt”.

• Ammo: He calls about ammo for sale and asks the seller to “shoot some of it off over the phone”.

• Dive Watch: He calls about a dive watch and again claims to have been in the seller’s backyard measuring it.

• Electric Washer: He calls Archie about a “220 volt electric washer,” claiming to have been in his backyard and asking why it needs so many volts. The host later explains the purpose of high voltage in some washing machines (heating elements).

• Elliptical Machine: He calls Libby, who has loud music playing, and leaves a voicemail telling her to turn it down.

• Records: He calls Walt about records for sale, repeatedly asking him to read out every artist’s name and then to convert them to MP3s. He specifically asks for “Weird Al Yankovic variety of pula music” and asks them to sing a Perry Como song. The call ends with the woman getting frustrated.

• Beanie Babies: He leaves a voicemail for “Buddy” asking about 1,800 Beanie Babies.

• Gun Cabinet: He calls Shirley about a gun cabinet, which she says was sold over three years ago, leading to a confrontational exchange.

• Table and Chairs: Another call where two women named Patricia claim to have the same phone number and are selling the same table and chairs, leading to a heated argument and accusations of scamming and identity theft, with one Patricia praying to Jesus.

• Ansco Vision 8 Projector: He calls Linda about an old projector ad, which she says was posted “a year or longer” ago.

• Model Cars: He calls Grace about model cars for $50, but a man answers and becomes highly aggressive and insulting, using slurs.
The episode concludes with listener voicemails and final thoughts from the host:

• A listener named “I don’t regret not jumping” asks why the host doesn’t “love” his YouTube comments, leading the host to “heart” the comment.

• A listener discusses the “Bye, Felicia” reference, which the host links to the movie Friday.

• A listener praises the AI podcast analysis from a previous show and asks about the program (Notebook LM), which the host confirms he uses.

• A listener suggests a prank idea involving pretending to have an accident in a store bathroom due to lack of toilet paper and asking for supplies.

• A listener complains about Spotify cancelling subscriptions and removing episodes due to copyrighted music. The host recommends Podcast Addict for Android and the default “Podcasts” app for iOS as better alternatives, advising listeners to delete Spotify due to its use of AI music without paying artists.

• A listener complains about the host putting out “too many shows lately” while dealing with a cat with diarrhea.

• A listener gives a short, abusive voicemail.

• Patrick from Illinois asks about the status of “Dingtember,” a prank segment. The host confirms it’s back and has been happening, lamenting that Patrick didn’t know.

• A listener suggests creating a second number for the “Beverly bot” to filter out non-prank calls. The host apologises for ignoring previous prank requests due to the volume of emails.

• The episode ends with a song about Gen X “No Evidence” and getting away with mischievous acts due to the lack of technology like ring cameras or caller ID. A short clip from a previous aggressive call is also included at the very end.

  1. Brad, those show notes make even my homework look good. The AI stuff in the pranks is a bit twilight zone fakeo weird to me – BUT, Carlito would have been so proud to get called chutiya so perfectly and so early on in a call, so however that worked out, props for that…and sounds like you had a lot of fun doing it!

I always knew you were Shifty Pop BTW.
